Last Call for 7th Grade Assistant Coaches & Helpers!
BYF's tackle football program is putting out a "Last Call" for assistant coaches and helpers who might be interested in being a part of the program this season. Assistants and helpers are a vital part of the program and make practices and games run that much more smoothly, even with partial commitments. TO SIGN UP, visit our website and click on "Register to Coach" and go through with the registration on our site and on USA Football.
FYI, the first week schedule looks like this:
8-11: First practice
8-17: Teams drafted (equally)
8-18: First team practice
8-23: First scrimmage
8-30: First game
Parents: The first week we will practice Mon-Tues (helmets only), Wed-Thurs (helmets and shoulder pads), Fri-Sat (full uniform and tackling). If your player does not bring a mouthguard - he will not practice. Reminder that on a week-to-week basis, if players do not practice they will not play in games.
